The Water Resource Management Website
Website and Logo
The Water Resource Management (WRM) department did not have a dedicated website for its operations. The WRM Program is responsible for establishing water quality and drinking water standards, monitoring the waters of New Jersey to ensure compliance with surface and groundwater standards, ensuring the delivery of water that meets drinking water criteria, regulating wastewater and stormwater discharges, managing water diversion to protect resources, and providing low-cost financial assistance for capital improvements to water infrastructure. The website’s design was created to reflect what the department deemed essential for public understanding and engagement.

WRM Logo
The WRM department asked me to design a logo representing all of the WRM departments and requested a new website. I created multiple logo designs, each showcasing the different departments. Since the department heads couldn’t decide, a vote was held across the department to choose the final design. The second design was the winning option.
The winner was number two.
Website
I designed the website in alignment with the department’s new style as they transitioned to WordPress. I have coded the site using Bootstrap 4 to mimic the anticipated WordPress design and functionality closely.
